As your experience grows we’ll take you on
busier roads around Newcastle, Hanley and surrounding areas.
Longton has many quiet areas to get you started, and is within a short driving distance from the city centre to develop your driving further. From the school run in the morning, the nearby towns with lots of pedestrians, the large HGV’s travelling through the town, to the fast moving, busy dual carriageway.
Whatever time of day, there’s ample opportunities to improve your driving and increase your hazard perception awareness.
There’s then lots of areas where you’ll be able to practice your manoeuvres.
Which test centre will I use?
Longton is just a short drive away from the Newcastle and Cobridge test centres. Your driving instructor will take you around the various test routes, and make you familiar with the local areas, before guiding you towards the most suitable test centre.
